Speeches: Lesson plan 5

Each lesson plan in this 'Speeches' series includes learning outcomes, success criteria, pre-lesson preparation notes, resources and a step-by-step learning sequence. In this lesson plan students will learn to write and perform a persuasive speech that incorporates previously learnt techniques. The teacher will provide students with a YouTube example of a persuasive speech before students use the provided templates to assist in presenting and giving feedback in pairs. The lesson concludes with time for students to reflect and comment on their learning.
