This engaging lesson plan contains a learning outcome, success criteria, pre-lesson preparation, resources, learning sequences and a conclusion. Throughout the lesson students will explore and gain an awareness of the consequences some actions have on the environment. The teacher organises a speaker to come and talk about what they are doing to save a species with the class and asks the students to write questions for the speaker. In the final task of the lesson students will carry out an activity to discover the positive and negative consequences of our everyday actions. The lesson concludes with time for the student to fill out a learning log and reflect on the lesson.
