Word game: Compound word capture caper

Packed in this e-unit is a fun and interactive game for teachers to run in their class. The unit provides game instructions for the teacher, a set of 'compound word cards' to be photocopied and prepared for students, and idea's to make the game harder or alter the method to suit each groups ability. Students will play in teams, with the aim of the game being to make as many compound words as possible and collect the most cards! As the game is designed for younger students, the teacher will support each group throughout the exercise.
