similes, metaphors and personification
This unit consists of a short text about a brother and sister's visit to the zoo, and worksheets on literal and figurative language. The first worksheet gives students an explanation of this literal language as well as an exercise based on the language from the text. Worksheet 2 focuses on similes, Worksheet 3 on metaphors and the final page looks at personification.
