In this unit students learn to work out one times tables problem to help them solve a second problem. For example, if students can solve 2 x 8 = ___, then they can see how doubling the multiplier '2' also doubles the product. The 'double arrow' graphics support students' understanding of this strategy. The answers for the activities are provided.
