Reading activities based on School Journal 2006, Part 1, No5

This unit is packed full of activities for students to complete to demonstrate understanding of what they have read in three articles of the School Journal, 2006, Part 1, No 5. The journal articles covered are: One more minute, The alien under the stairs and Gumboots. Students will enjoy analysing the Mitchell's washing cycle, creating a story about an alien using the provided puzzle words and imagining what a gumboot could be used for.
