Reading activities based on School Journal 2006, Part 1, No1

This unit is packed full of activities for students to complete to demonstrate understanding of what they have read in three articles of the School Journal, 2006, Part 1, No 1. The journal articles covered are: Eating worms, Game on! and Flying the flag. Students will enjoy making up strange names for common foods, planning an Olympic-style competition and designing their own classroom flag.
