This unit gives students plenty of opportunities to revise finding a fraction of a set using addition facts. In Task 1 and 2, sets of images are partitioned by the specified fraction's denominator allowing students to make the connection between equal sharing and addition. Task 3 removes the visual supports, while Task 4 requires students find each quarter of a number.
